Dr Kevin Phan has undertaken specialist training in dermatology with the Australasian College of Dermatologists. He has a strong academic foundation solidified by broad experience across medical, surgical and evidence-based dermatology.

Kevin’s passion for Dermatology comes from its blend of foundational science, complex medical reasoning and procedural skill.
He enjoys all areas of the specialty, with a particular interest in:
Early skin cancer detection
Dermatologic surgery
General dermatology including acne, psoriasis and eczema
As a strong believer in lifelong learning, Kevin remains actively involved in research. He has published widely with over 100 globally peer-reviewed publications, presented at both national and international conferences, and co-authored textbook chapters.
Kevin has also served as a sub-investigator on several clinical trials in psoriasis, eczema and alopecia areata, focusing on biologics and next-generation dermatology medicines.
His ongoing academic engagement keeps him at the forefront of emerging treatments, ensuring his patients receive best practice care based on the most current medical evidence.
Kevin values a holistic approach to skin disease, understanding that many internal diseases can manifest on the skin. His broad medical background enables him to collaborate with GPs and other specialists to ensure comprehensive, coordinated patient care.
